In 2018, EdReports embarked on an inaugural review of six series of grades 6-8 science materials. This session will provide an overview of the tool creation process and components, selection of materials for review, the reviewer recruitment and selection, training, and review processes, an overview of reports resulting from the inaugural review, and an update on and opportunities for upcoming reviews in 2019. The breakout session will focus on a deep dive into the rubric and evidence guides, reviewer processes for consensus and calibration, the reports to discuss findings, and aspects of quality adoption processes.
